Found just a short drive off 6A in the center of Brewster, this Cape Cod Bay beach is a popular spot for families. Gentle dunes border the soft white sand beach. The water is warm and great to swim in at a comfortable 65-70 degrees in the summer. As with all eight Brewster bay beaches, the flats are incredible at low tide and extend for almost a mile out into the bay! This makes a perfect playground for children to explore the tidal pools searching for small fish, shells, and crabs, and for teens to throw a ball or fly a kite. Beachgoers should be cognizant of the tide times, as the water rushes in quickly at high tide. There are no lifeguards.

Portable toilets are located in the relatively large parking lot. Although there is no snack bar, an ice cream truck routinely visits to offer snacks and refreshments and the Brewster General Store is located on 6A at the intersection of Breakwater Road. Parking permits are available at the Brewster town hall, which is about a mile away.

How to get there: Take Breakwater Road off Route 6A/Main St. in Brewster
